Tiến sĩ Fauci nói với ABC News hôm 17/10 rằng, “Đây đáng lẽ phải là loại vaccine hai liều ngay từ đầu. Tôi nghĩ điều đó rất thuận lợi cho những ai đã chích vaccine J&J này. Tôi thấy rằng chẳng có vấn đề gì cả.”
Tuy nhiên, sau đó ông Fauci thừa nhận rằng một số người chích vaccine Johnson & Johnson nên chích thêm vaccine Pfizer hoặc vaccine Moderna để làm liều bổ sung.
