Với phương thức này, Vũ đã nhiều lần thực hiện hành vi làm giả hồ sơ, giấy tờ của cơ quan chức năng để đưa nhiều người xuất cảnh trái phép sang Lào.
Khám xét khẩn cấp chổ ở của Vũ, lực lượng chức năng thu giữ 50 quyển hộ chiếu của công dân Việt Nam kèm theo nhiều đơn xin thị thực, người viết đơn không ký tên và nhiều tập hồ sơ, tài liệu liên quan đến hoạt động xin cấp Visa cho công dân Việt Nam.
Hiện Biên phòng tỉnh Quảng Trị đã khởi tố vụ án hình sự và bàn giao đối tượng, tang vật cho Công an tỉnh Quảng Trị tiếp tục điều tra, xử lý theo quy định của pháp luật.
