Tại sự kiện trực tuyến này, ông Tần đã trực tiếp đổ lỗi căng thẳng hiện tại giữa các cường quốc kinh tế lớn nhất thế giới lên phía Hoa Kỳ, lặp lại giọng điệu của Trung Cộng rằng Hoa Thịnh Đốn đang “chèn ép” Trung Quốc.

Để đáp trả sự lên án mạnh mẽ của các quốc gia phương Tây về các hành vi vi phạm nhân quyền, sự cưỡng ép kinh tế và xâm lược quân sự của Trung Cộng, các quan chức Trung Quốc đã sử dụng một cách tiếp cận hiếu chiến được gọi là ngoại giao “chiến lang.” Trong hai cuộc gặp cao cấp trực tiếp giữa các nhà ngoại giao Trung Cộng và các quan chức của Tổng thống Biden năm nay, các quan chức Trung Cộng đã chỉ trích những người đồng cấp Hoa Kỳ về một loạt các hành vi được cho là sai phạm của Hoa Kỳ ở trong nước và quốc tế.
